Rudy DeKeyser, Independent director
Rudy DeKeyser is managing director of VIB (Flanders Institute for Biotechnology) and also heads the technology transfer team of the institute. He obtained a PhD in molecular biology at the University Gent. He held director positions in Ablynx, Devgen and CropDesign and currently holds director positions in Actogenix, Pronota, Remynd, Flandersbio, EMBLEM, Bioincubator Leuven, Biolign and Multiplicon.
He is a co-founder of ASTP (the European associations of technology transfer managers), chairman of the valorization board of NGI (the Dutch genome initiative) and visiting professor innovation management at the University Gent. Rudy is advisor to several investment funds and to multiple regional and international committees on innovation.
