Atta Behfar is Special Scientific Advisor to Management. Atta has over 10 years of experience in Stem Cell Biology, Cardiovascular Regeneration and Cell therapy. He holds an MD with cardiology training and board certification in Internal Medicine along with a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. For his work on cardiopoiesis, the technology platform of Cardio3 BioSciences, Atta was named Assistant Professor of Medicine and the General Mills Clinician Investigator in 2009. He was awarded the Presidential Award by the American Society of Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics in 2005 along with the Herman K. Gold Young Investigator Award by the American College of Cardiology in 2010.
