Quality Control Technician

Cardio3 BioSciences, headquartered in Mont-Saint-Guibert (Belgium), is a biopharmaceutical company, founded in 2007, and focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of innovative proprietary regenerative and protective therapies for the treatment of cardiac diseases, in particular heart failure and heart attack. The lead product candidate, C-Cure® has shown positive Phase II efficacy results and is being prepared for Phase III trials.

Quality Control Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Conduct routine and non-routine inspection of raw materials, in-process and finished formulations under supervision and according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documents results;
• Calibrate, monitor and maintain lab equipment;
• Review data obtained for compliance to specifications and report abnormalities;
• Revise and update SOPs and checklists as necessary;
• Perform a wide variety of inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures for the manufacturing process according to SOPs.

QUALIFICATIONS – PROFILE:

• Open and clear communicator
• Careful planning to achieve accurate and timely results
• Focus on quality and detail
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently or with very little supervision as needed
• Flexible to provide support when needed

EXPERIENCE – TRAINING:

• Bachelor degree in a biological or health science
• Strong Quality Control experience (experience in similar industry is a plus)
• Knowledge of GMPs
• Strong scientific background or past experience in cell culturing processes is a plus
• Languages: English : excellent oral and written, additional languages of advantage
• Proficient knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
